Orbital Fields
Orbital Fields explores motion, gravity, and interference through refined rotational techniques and layered metallics.
In this collection, spinning becomes more than a method, it becomes structure. Each piece is built around a central force, with paint pulled outward into orbiting fields that collide, stretch, and fracture across the surface. Metallic pigments are introduced not as accents, but as active elements, catching light differently depending on angle and distance, allowing the work to shift as the viewer moves.
Compared to earlier bodies of work, Orbital Fields marks a turning point: greater control over rotation, deliberate disruptions through brushwork, and a focus on contrast between fluid motion and intentional interruption. Fluorescent and metallic tones amplify depth and energy, creating surfaces that feel both dynamic and suspended in time.
Every piece is one of one — shaped by gravity, momentum, and decision — capturing a moment where motion is frozen, but never still.
